Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

What is Open Success Convert?

Open Success Convert turns financial statements into accounting-ready transaction data.

Upload a statement, let AI extract and verify the transactions, review anything that needs attention, then export the results for bookkeeping, reconciliation and reporting.

Who is Open Success Convert designed for?

Open Success Convert is built for accountants, bookkeepers, businesses and finance teams.

If you're spending time manually entering statement data, preparing imports or reconciling transactions, Open Success Convert helps automate the process.

How does Open Success Convert work?

Getting started is simple:

  1. Upload your statement.
  2. AI extracts and verifies the transaction data.
  3. Review anything that needs attention.
  4. Export accounting-ready results.

No manual data entry. No complicated setup.

What makes Open Success Convert different from traditional statement conversion tools?

Most statement conversion tools stop at extraction.

Open Success Convert goes further by verifying extracted data, identifying potential issues, guiding review and re-verifying changes before export.

Instead of simply converting statements, Open Success Convert helps you review, validate and export transaction data with greater confidence.

Can I upload scanned or image-based statements?

Absolutely.

Yes.

Open Success Convert is designed to handle statements containing multiple accounts, account types, currencies and transaction sections within a single document.

Transactions are automatically organised and prepared for verification, review and export.

What transaction data does Open Success Convert extract?

Open Success Convert extracts key transaction information, including:

  • Transaction Date
  • Description
  • Amount
  • Balance

Where available, Open Success Convert can also identify account information, account types and currencies from the statement.

The extracted data is structured and prepared for verification, review and export.

What happens after I upload a statement?

Once your statement is uploaded, AI extracts the transaction data and automatically runs verification checks.

If no issues are found, the statement is marked Verified and is ready for export. If anything needs attention, you'll be guided through the review workflow before exporting.

Why can't my statement be processed?

There are a few common reasons:

  • The file format is not supported
  • The file exceeds the upload limits
  • The document is not a financial statement
  • The document does not contain identifiable transaction data
  • The uploaded file is unreadable or incomplete

When processing cannot continue, Open Success Convert will display an error message explaining the issue and, where possible, how to resolve it.
